Muttin: Where you going?
Me: Outside for a minute.
Muttin: Without us?
Me: YESDAMNIT!
I didn't have anyone to do a good deed on for the 7th and 8th, as I literally didn't see anyone. Cept for the dogs. And the creepy old man who stares out of his window whenever we're out there. I was in a zone, fixing my camera problem, too.
Yesterday's (9th) good deed was to speak up when one of the seniors said his car battery was dead. So I offered to jump him. Jump the BATTERY, people. Said car came to life, and now the old man thinks I'm his best friend. Jeez Lou - weeeeez, there's a price to pay for being nice! I LIKE no people days. At least they don't need taking outside to poop.
Today, I took one of the tenants to the store. He sounds like he's gonna hack up a lung. He's also yet another brother of my BFriend, and at one time, he lay in the hospital with a 5-10 percent chance of living. So we have history. I've actually taken him 3 or 4 times in the last couple of weeks cause he's sick, and it's cold outside. He always looks like death warmed over even on his good days, so I'm glad to do it.
There. All caught up.
See more Good Deeds here.
