Did I already show you these?
Which pattern do you like best? I'm making one for SanFranMan's little girl, and another blue one for his son. Then I'll find something with cats for Ben's little girl. I am having so much fun making these quilts. I'm still working on SonOne's and it's driving me crazy cause I deviated from the easy peasy squares, adding a border, and it's a pain in the ass. But it's beautiful. I'll take a picture of it when its done.
Why the heck do I think I need to decide which pattern I like best?
I have enough to make both of them, plus 3 baby quilts. Duh.
I think the recent flare-up is receeding, but obviously, my cognitive facilties are still lacking.
Do you think charging a dollar a square is a reasonable charge for selling these things? An 8x9 is about 60 inches by 68ish inches. About five foot by 5 and a half. That's $72.00. Yikes. Is that too much? Tell me.
.
Considering the amount of material that goes into these, and the amount of work, $72.00 is NOT too much. In fact, I might even suggest going $1.25 a square. Consider the cost of the material, both sides. I love the colors!

So start at $144 and let then talk you down to $100. (Pricing things is the art of knowing what the market will bear and then talking it into it by letting it think it got a "deal!")
Look at Apple's iPhone. $500... For a phone...
What am I? Nuts?
But I'm going to pay it. :-)

I like all of them, and agree with TC about the selling price. If you have to go down in price, even if you only get what you've spent, you'd still be ahead cause you are enjoying doing them.

But then, selling them for cost defeats the purpose of making money for the Move.
