Correct me if I'm wrong

There's a toothpaste commercial that starts out with a lady up close, real confiding like, and she says something like this; "I got a little worried, (dramatic pause), when I saw that there's (another dramatic pause) "a little pink in the sink". 

I held my breath, fully expecting her to tell me that her sink was pregnant.  Don't the home pregnancy tests turn pink if it's positive?
